These specially designed classes provide a fun and interactive learning environment while teaching students the basics to many of today’s most popular Ballroom and Latin dance styles as well as Ballet and Modern/Hip Hop. With a focus on movement, musicality, partnering and etiquette, your child will come away with new skills and and self-confidence.

Ages: 4-16

Spring Break: March 9th – 20th

SCHEDULE:
Tuesdays: 5:30pm MODERN/ HIP HOP with Tanya and BALLROOM (11-16 yo) with Yavor
Thursdays: 5:30pm BALLET with Tanya and 6:15pm BALLROOM (4-10 yo) with Yavor

TUITION:

  • Drop ins: $10 per class
  • Full Semester ONE STYLE (32 classes): $290 ($30 savings)
  • Full Semester TWO STYLES (64 classes) : $550 ($90 savings)
  • Full Semester THREE STYLES (96 classes): $800 ($160 savings)

Q:  What will my child learn in these classes?

  • Students will learn the basic steps to a variety of dance styles (Ballroom – Waltz, Cha Cha / Ballet/ Modern/ Hip Hop)
  • Students will learn cooperation, partnering and dance etiquette while interacting with peers
  • Students will gain self-confidence and improved physical fitness through movement and musical expression

Q:  What is the class format?

  • Each class will start with a warmup to get young bodies prepared and minds focused
    • Each dance style being taught will be broken down so that students can recognize what makes each dance unique and identify it by its count and distinct tempo
    • Partnering skills (frame, different dance holds, lead and follow) will be taught
    • Dance etiquette (respect for partners, manners on and off the floor, and proper physical and verbal communication with a partner) will be observed

Q:  What does my child need to wear to Ballet class?

  • Ballet Slippers are recommended (we offer variety of styles at our NRG Boutique at the studio)
  • Clothing should allow for comfortable movement – Leotard, tights and ballet skirts or black leggings/tights and leotards
  • Hair should be put in a bun or a ponytail

Q:  What does my child need to wear to Ballroom class?

  • Dance shoes are recommended (we offer variety of styles at our NRG Boutique at the studio)
  • Clothing should allow for comfortable movement
    • Boys – T-shirt (solid color) and pants are acceptable
    • Girls – dance skirts  and leotards
  • Hair should be put in a bun or a ponytail

Q:  What does my child need to wear to Modern/ Hip Hop class?

  • Sneakers or jazz shoes
  • Clothing should allow for comfortable movement
